Downtown Gadsden - Third Thursday, the Downtown Gadsden Inc. free concert series, is closing the season out with The Hubacher Brothers on September 19th. This concert is held at the water wall, located between the Pitman Theater and the Downtown Civic Center. The Hubacher Brothers are a two-piece group of seasoned musicians that play an eclectic mix of acoustic vocal music spanning the 60's through the present. While their repertoire weighs heavily on classic rock artists such as the Beatles, Eagles, Elton John, ELO, the Moody Blues, Poco, Peter Frampton, the Who, and many more - don't be surprised if they break out a torch song by Michael Buble or some vintage Johnny Cash on request.
This is the last Third Thursday of 2019. Concerts take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm; gates open at 5:00 pm. Attendees are invited to bring their coolers or to purchase their meals to-go from a downtown restaurant. Lawn chairs are encouraged because the available seating at the water wall is limited and on a first come first serve basis.
"If the conditions are too hot for the outdoor location or if it is raining, we'll move to inside the Pitman," says Kay Moore, DGI Director. "Follow us on Facebook for the latest information on the day of the concert."
