Noccalula Falls Park continues their Noccalula Statue 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday Sept 21, 2019 with a Free Day at the Falls. To kick off the festivities join community leaders and park staff at the Noccalula Statue at 9 a.m. for a wreath hanging ceremony and a presentation on the legacy of the park.
After the wreath hanging, the park will open all gates and admission will be free to enter the park. Noccalula Park petting zoo will be open and the C.P. Huntington train will be running. Mini Golf will be open, however, regular admission will apply to play. Noccalula Falls Park will close at 6 p.m.
Noccalula Falls Park is a 250-acre public park located in Gadsden, Alabama. The main feature of the park is a 90-foot waterfall with a trail winding through Black Creek Gorge at its base. The park also features a petting zoo, mini-golf course, the Gilliland-Reese Covered Bridge and a replica 1863 C. P. Huntington train ride. Noccalula Falls Park was listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on May 12, 1976.
