As part of the Gadsden City School system, the Beautiful Rainbow Café will be closed July 27- August 13 for training and Back-To-School registration! The café will reopen for business on Tuesday, August 14th!

GPL Kids, Teen & Adult Clothing Drive!

The Teen Zone is collecting gently-used clothing throughout the months of May, June and July for a Back-to-School Clothing Sale to be held July 25, 26 & 27 at the GPL in the Lena Martin Room! All proceeds go to GPL programming and outreach!

Where: Computer Classroom (2nd Floor) of the Main Library
Cost: Classes are offered free-of-charge to the community! PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required since space is limited to 12 people per class. Register for classes in person at the Computer Center Desk (2nd floor) or for more information, call 256.549.4699, ext. 2119. A current (free & clear) library card is needed to enroll. If you don’t have a card, you may obtain one at the Circulation Desk, 1st floor of the Main Library.

GPL Kid’s Ukulele Camp

Only 10 spots available! Registration required and includes a 21-day checkout of a ukulele to be used for the duration of the camp. This 4 week camp will meet every Monday from July 9th- 30th from 10-11:30AM. A $5 deposit is required upon registration and will be refunded upon first attendance.
