Downtown Gadsden - Third Thursday, the Downtown Gadsden Inc. free concert series, returns on May 17 at the water wall, located between the Pitman Theater and the Downtown Civic Center. The performer for the first concert will be Josh Nichols.

For 2018 the Third Thursday season will run from May through September. Concerts will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Gates open at 5:00 pm. Attendees are invited to bring their coolers or to purchase their meals from a downtown restaurant. Lawn chairs are encouraged because the available seating at the water wall is limited and on a first come first serve basis.

The remainder of the season will feature New Delusions on June 21, Hubacher Brothers on July 19, Keegan Bost on August 16 and Ragan & Adam on September 20.

"We keep an eye on the forecast and have the option to move the performance inside the Pitman if needed," says Kay Moore, DGI Director.
