Summer Concert Series Dates & Entertainment Set 

The dates and performers have been locked in for the 9th season of the Summer  Concert Series held in conjunction with First Fridays at the Mort Glosser Amphitheatre ‘The  Amp’ at 90 Walnut Street in downtown Gadsden.     

The concerts runs from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. following First Friday celebration on Broad  Street and are free. Cushions and coolers are welcome. The concerts are great fun for all ages  and a great time for everyone in the community. This year, we are excited to announce that  Local Joe’s will be selling food at each event.      

The Series kicks off on Friday, June 1st, with Southern Accents. This Tom Petty and the  Heartbreakers Tribute band provides a high-energy rock show with all the Tom Petty classics.   

Friday, July 6th brings High Voltage, an AC/DC Tribute band to The Amp. Come to the concert  to hear all of the AC/DC rock hits. High Voltage promises to deliver the energy and excitement  that a true AC/DC concert supplies.    

Join us at The Amp on Friday, August 3rd  for Masterpiece. This variety dance band is high  energy and never disappoints. Definitely bring your dancing shoes to enjoy all styles of music  including funk, soul and motown.    

Closing out the Summer Concert Series on Friday, September 7th, Chicago Rewired comes to  The Amp.  This premier Chicago tribute band will delight with renditions from the popular  pop rock group, Chicago.      

The 2018 Summer Concert Series promises to be a good time and have something for all ages.  Bring the family and join us the first Friday of each month throughout the summer.
