Gadsden, AL— The Gadsden Beautification Board is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Beautification Awards.  The nomination period is March 13 until April 17, 2017.  Nomination forms are available online at www.cityofgadsden.com or at the Gadsden Police Department or Senior Activity Center.

Nominations may be made in several categories including Commercial, Single family home, Multi-family home, School, Church and several sub-categories.  Special awards are available for Restorations, Renovations and Senior Citizen over 75. 

Judging guidelines recommend well-groomed, distinctive looking, harmonious properties. Landscape design criteria recommend plantings that relate to the building in size and shape, creative use of terrain and pleasing blending of plants.
