Gadsden, Alabama – The City of Gadsden is hosting the second neighborhood meeting to share developments, plans and get further input on the East Gadsden Community Center project. The meeting will be held on Saturday morning January 21 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the East Gadsden Community Center (921 Wilson Ave, Gadsden.)
The subsurface geotechnical investigation and report are now complete and the architect has additional concept drawings to reveal. The multimillion dollar project will bring a needed replacement of the Community Center in East Gadsden. Input from users of the new facility is imperative and will shape the decisions and priorities of the project.
The Lead Architect, Engineering Department, Parks and Recreation, Council Members and Mayor’s Office staff will be in attendance to share details, tentative timelines and hear opinions.
