Coosa Landing is host each year to many local fishing tournaments as well as state and national tournaments. In 2005, the Bait Shop was relocated to the east side of the river next to the Broad Street Bridge. In the past years we co-sponsored / hosted such national tournaments as Crappie USA, the Bass Federation, B.A.S.S., the Women's Bass Fishing Association (WBFA), plus others. local and state club. The tournaments are held on the Coosa River, well known for the quality and quantity of fish it produces. Coosa Landing has 4 lane boat launch, parking for approx. 125 trucks/boat trailers, and a stage area for weight-ins. Overflow parking is available if needed. The bait shop has all of your fishing needs including bait (live and artificial), refreshments, tackle and also fishing license. Restrooms are available at the bait shop.
Riverwalk Trail entrance is located at Coosa Landing. This trail is just under a mile long on the bank of the Coosa River with boardwalks and gravel trail. With multiple piers to park boats, a covered pavilion, and a walkway to Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.
