NEW PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL AND GOVERNMENT CHANNEL

   Starting in May, Mayor Sherman Guyton, the City Council and Comcast Cable will introduce the Gadsden Informational Television (G.I.T) channel. G.I.T is the City’s Public Educational and Government channel. G.I.T will be broadcasting various city related programs as well as public safety programs 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Some of the programs that will be broadcast include:

•         City Council Meetings

•         Emergency Management Programs

•         Police and Fire Programs

•         Individual Department Programs

•         Community Events Announcements

•         City Announcements

•         Emergency Alert Notification

•         Save our Neighborhood Programs
