Rosters, entry forms, etc. Is due no later than August 14, 2009. Be sure your State Commissioner has signed your paperwork(Roster and National Entry Form). Coaches Meeting / Tournament Draw
August 21, 2009 @ 11:00am A meal will be provided for two Coaches from each team, Additional meals may be purchased for $5.00 each. Call the Complex to RSVP your extra meals. This will be at Noccalula Falls. Directions to Noccalula Falls: if you are coming from Attalla go down 431/Meighan Blvd go pass the Complex turn left at the 1st red light go up the mountain the falls is on the left across from the Jet Pet and Dollar General. If you are coming from Gadsden from the river go to 12th Street turn right at the red light go up the mountain the falls is on the left across from the Jet Pet and Dollar General.
Directions to Ball Park the Street name is 1420 West Meighan Blvd. Gadsden AL 35902
From I-59 from Birmingham Alabama take Exit 183 go to 2nd red light take a right go three and one half miles Complex will be on the right.
From 1-59 from Chattanooga Tn. Take exit 183 turn left go three and one half miles Complex on the right.rom Huntsville, go down 431 stay on 431 it will turn into Meighan Blvd complex is 3 1/2 miles on right from the interstate over pass.
From Anniston go down 431 you will go thru Glencoe stay on 431 it will turn into Meighan Blvd the Complex is on the left pass 12th street.
Parking : No charge for parking.
Awards :Sponsor awards to the top 5th place teams and individual awards to top 3 teams
Home team: The home team will be determined by coin toss. This is going to take place 15 minutes before game begins or 5th inning in the previous game which ever happens first. This will be at the bottom of the stairs at the table set up for teams.
Player Identification August 21, 2009 3:00 until 4:30
All players participating in the tournament must provide a current driver's license & player signature and in order to participate. The I.D. check will be Friday August 21 from 3:30 until 4:30 at the Complex Tower
Uniforms: All players should wear uniforms alike in color, trim, and style. Coaches must be neatly attired and dressed alike or in team uniform and in accordance with team color. (Please see rule 3, section 6 of ASA Code.)
Opening Ceremonies: August 21, 2009 5:00 pm
Tournament Photographer July 30, 2008 8:00 am until 2:00pm During the tournament there will be a photographer on site for team pictures, please check with the Complex Staff for times and Dates. Pictures will be available before the completion of the tournament. if you would like ACTION SHOP just let her know.
Player Passes Each team member will be issued a player pass. There will also be three (3) Coach’s passes issued. These are NOT transferable and will be monitored every session.

Coin Toss: The coin toss will be held in front of the softball complex tower at the bottom of the fifth (5th) inning of the proceeding game. A table will be set up for coaches to pick line up cards and brackets. Home teams, as decided by coin toss, will sit in first (1st) base dugout.
Line Ups: Lines up cards are available and must be completed as follows. Player’s last name, first initial, position and jersey number. Line ups will not be accepted incomplete. You can pick them up at the coin toss table were you will give to them 15 minutes before game or 5th inning of proceeding game which ever comes first.
Game Ball: We provided the Official Game Ball will be the Worth ASA approved 12 in 44 core Dugout Maximum allowed is 20 players, 2 coaches, 1 scorekeeper and 1 bat person. The Umpire will ask all unauthorized persons to leave.
Concessions: Concessions will run from start to finish at complex,
Team Tents: We do allow Team tents in the Complex area we just ask that they stay away from the stands behind the back stop.
Rain Out / Tiebreaker
If there is a question concerning the weather, please call 549-4709 or 549-4710. I In the event of rain or any cause which interrupts a game, the game must be resumed at the point in which it was stopped. It is the manager’s responsibility to call the rain out number in such an event or visit the information table set up at the bottom of the steps near the tower. If the tournament cannot be completed within the scheduled time frame and more than 40% of the games have been completed, then the official order of finished will be determined by team position in the bracket. Tiebreaker procedure will be as followed:
☻Team which advance the farthest in the winners bracket
☻Won-Loss Record
☻If two teams are tied and have played each other, the winner of that game moves ahead.
☻Fewest runs allowed per game played
☻most runs scored per game played
☻Coin toss
Souvenirs
National Tournament T-Shirts $15.00 each will be available on site during the tournament. A variety of souvenirs and complex shirts can also be purchased.
Infield Practice
No infield practice is allowed. Please use the warm up areas. Teams wishing to practice may reserve a practice field by calling (256) 549-4709 from 8:00 am -6:00 pm, Thursday
Tournament Format
In accordance with ASA Regulation for Championship Tournaments. Depending on the number of teams & weather conditions, this will determine the time of the last game. I would recommend that teams using commercial transportation to book their return passage for Monday following the tournament.
