The Gadsden Informational Television Network (GITN) is Gadsden's PEG channel which provides government related programming 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This includes City Council Meetings, Emergency Management Programs, Police and Fire Programs, Individual Department Programs, Community Events Announcements, City Announcements, Emergency Alert Notification, and Save our Neighborhood Programs. GITN is available on Comcast channel 99 under a franchise agreement the City of Gadsden has with Comcast. City Council Meetings are scheduled for every Tuesday with pre-council at 10:00 am and council at 11:00 am. The City Council meetings are shown every day at 3 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm.
