Striplin Elementary School Wins Pizza Party for Collecting 106 bags of trash during the 2011 GREAT CLEAN UP DAY
Gadsden Mayor Sherman Guyton and the City Council provided a PIZZA PARTY for the students of Striplin Elementary School for collecting 206 bags of trash during the Great American Clean Up Day. . . . . This marked the third year of the event, two of which have been won by Striplin. Trash trucks were parked at all elementary schools in Gadsden and students who collected the most trash won the pizza party, and bragging rights. Interview with Mayor & Presentation included.
