          The City of Gadsden and Gadsden State Community College is proud to announce the re-opening of the Dub Parker Park and Boat Launch.  We will celebrate by having a re-opening with hotdogs and drinks on Friday, June 4, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the large pavilion.  The facility will be open on Saturday, June 5, 2010 and Sunday, June 6, 2010 for the citizens to enjoy also.  Come join us at one of Gadsden’s best family entertainment areas.

On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, we will begin our regular operating hours opening Wednesday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  There will be a $2.00 boat launch fee and the large pavilion can be rented for $10.00 an hour to accommodate parties by contacting the Parks & Recreation Department at 256-549-4680.  There will be an attendant on duty during the entire operating hours.
