    A.  Obtain a statement from your doctor and contact the Public Works Department (256) 549-4703.

    Q.  What is the difference between garbage and trash?
    A.  Garbage is household waste that is placed in the large black cans for collection.  Trash is tree limbs, leaves, grass clippings, etc.

    Q.  Where do I report a street light that is not working?
    A.  Obtain the pole number and contact the Alabama Power Company at 1-800-245-2244.
