DEPARTMENT SCOPE:

The Engineering Department consists of administrative employees, construction inspectors, surveyors, and CAD designers. We are responsible for permitting activities within the City's rights of way, designing and administering various public works projects, including streets, bridges, drainage, building renovations, and airport related, and surveying and providing other support for various City departments. Various maps are maintained in the drafting room of the Engineering Department, including USGS, Topographical, Land Use, plats, water and sewer, and others.
