City Code Section 74-73. Engaging in business without license or in unauthorized location.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or carry on any business within the corporate limits of the city for which a license is required without first having taken out such license.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or carry on any business in a location in the city where such business is not authorized by city ordinances.
Explanation:
The City of Gadsden Revenue Department issues business licenses, which are required for ANY person or organization conducting business in Gadsden, Alabama. The license must be acquired BEFORE conducting said business.
