Environmental Services Superintendent: Howell Mathews

This department is responsible for the inert landfill which accepts only construction demolition debris. The City recycles wood material (ground limbs, leaves, and trees) into mulch for free distribution. In addition large metals are collected for recycling. Further, this department operates the City's transfer station which consists of receiving and hauling all garbage to a certified Subtitle "D" landfill.
