Housing Assistance Program Housing Rehabilitation
The Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Loan Program has been developed to promote neighborhood stability by assisting in the rehabilitation of housing units occupied by low and moderate income homeowners. The objective is to provide below market rate variable interest (06%) loans to owner occupied structures. In addition, homeowners may be eligible to have a portion of the amount deferred based on family size and total family income.
Affordable Housing
The Affordable Housing Loan Program has been developed to provide below market rate interest (4%) loans to qualified applicants for purchasing houses from the Community Development housing stock. Applicants will be qualified by the amount to be borrowed, on family size, and total family income.
Optional Housing Replacement
The Optional Housing Replacement Loan Program has been developed to provide assistance to eligible homeowners whose houses are in a condition of disrepair. The homeowner must first be unable to participate with the Housing Rehabilitation program offered because the rehabilitation of their existing home is unfeasible. This program provides below market rate interest loans to homeowners who volunteer to participate. In addition, homeowners may be eligible to have a portion of the amount deferred based on family size and total family income.
Emergency Housing Repairs
The Emergency Housing Repairs Loan Program has been developed to assist in the emergency repairs of housing units occupied by low and moderate income homeowners. This program provides up to a maximum of $7,500 that may be loaned to any one qualified borrower. The term of the loan will be a maximum of five years and 0% interest.
