City elections are managed by the City Clerk. The terms of our current elected officials will end on November 3, 2014.  The next regular election will be held on August 26, 2014, for the purpose of electing a mayor and seven council members.  If a runoff election is necessary, it will be held on October 7, 2014.

There is no automatic system to update voter information, so voters are encouraged to make sure that their address is current on the official voters list, which is maintained by the board of registrars.  If you wish to check your voting record, call 256-549-5384.  If your name or address has changed since you registered to vote, click on the link below and print the voter update form.   Mail completed forms to the Etowah County Board of Registrars, 800 Forrest Avenue, Gadsden, AL 35901.
