The City of Gadsden is set to receive a little more than $24 million in Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, which are part of the American Rescue Plan Act.
These funds are intended to provide support for local governments in responding to the economic and public health impacts of COVID-19.
Citizens of Gadsden have an opportunity to provide input on how the funds could be spent, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury has published guidance with eligible uses of the funds.
