Art on the Rocks at the Falls 2020 set for Noccalula Falls Park

- The City of Gadsden Parks and Recreation Department and Greater Gadsden Area Tourism are partnering together to present “Art on the Rocks at the Falls” on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2020.  This juried show will feature original handmade arts and crafts. (No resale or direct sales.) The show will be held in the ticketed portion of Gadsden, Alabama’s Noccalula Falls Park and will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days. Food Vendors will be onsite.

“Art on the Rocks at the Falls” is an opportunity for local and regional artists and crafters to share their talent in Northeast Alabama. Along with the arts and crafts show that weekend, you will also be able to enjoy all the other attractions at the park such as the train ride, petting zoo, Pioneer Village, gardens, hiking trails and Noccalula Falls itself. Regular park admission does apply to all visitors: $6 (12 and older), $4 child admission (age 4-12), and 3 and younger free. Seniors and Military are also $4.

“Tourism and Parks and Recreation wanted to make sure “Art on the Rocks at the Falls” continued as a popular and well-managed event going forward so an agreement was worked out with the Gadsden Art Association for us to take over the event to manage and market it.” said Greater Gadsden Area Tourism executive director Hugh Stump III. Noccalula Falls Park Supervisor Christina Richardson added that “Art on the Rocks at the Falls” seems like such a natural connection to the beauty of Noccalula Falls Park that we wanted to make sure we could continue to offer a great event to the public.”
