Spend an evening in downtown Gadsden filled with family-friendly, holiday fun! The magical evening will begin at the lawn of City Hall. The Grinch will be there starting at 4:30pm and Santa will be there as well to help Mayor Guyton light the Christmas tree at 5:30pm. Pictures can be made with Santa after the tree lighting. We will have the Tuba Christmas ensemble playing on the lawn while you wait for a picture with Santa, and you can even catch the Coosa Boat Parade from the bleachers we will have set up. After these festivities conclude, make your way to Broad Street for First Friday.  Christmas decorations will fill the storefronts, be open late for shopping, and carolers will be spreading Christmas cheer. Be sure to eat at one of our delicious, local restaurants! First Friday is from 5pm-8pm, the streets will be closed from 1^st-7^thStreets.
