Downtown Gadsden – Downtown Gadsden will be celebrating Independence Day on July 5th for First Friday. Everyone is invited to come downtown to enjoy family-friendly fun from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Many downtown stores will be open late to allow for convenient shopping. Food vendors will line the 400 block of Broad Street serving up delicious treats. A wide array of classic cars will cruise in and be on display.
Live music features Master’s Touch at 2nd & Broad, Andrea Davis at 3rd & Broad, Diedra the Blues Diva at 4th & Broad, The Great Americans at 5th & Broad, and the Gadsden Line Dancers in the 600 Block.
Broad Street will be closed from 1st Street to 7th Street starting at 4 p.m. and will reopen after the event. As a reminder to all, pets are not allowed at First Friday.
