The Gadsden City Council will conduct a Special Called meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, in the Council Chamber on the first floor of Gadsden City Hall, 90 Broad Street.  The purpose of the meeting is to consider:  (1) A resolution authorizing an agreement between the City of Gadsden, Etowah County Commission, and Sheriff of Etowah County concerning incarceration of city prisoners in the Etowah County Detention Center; and (2) An ordinance amending the FY2019 budget to appropriate necessary funds for payments under the agreement for incarceration of city prisoners.
