Gadsden, AL- Noccalula Falls is reopening Friday, March 1st for the 2019 season. Looking ahead, the 2019 season will be an exciting year for Gadsden’s largest and most visited park. The park is continuing to make improvements for park facilities, so pardon our progress as you visit Noccalula Falls Park and Campground at 1500 Noccalula Road.
The 2019 calendar for Noccalula Falls Parks and Campground is loaded with events. Each month you can find a unique and fun event to suit your interests. The Spring season kicks off with the ‘Smoke on the Falls Barbecue Festival’ and ‘Black Creek Archery Tournament’ in April. In May ‘Art on the Rocks’ will be making a return and ‘The Noccalula Experience’ will open at the end of the month and continue into July. June doesn’t slow down; in fact, it speeds up with both the ‘Wheels on the Hill’ car show and the ‘Barbarian Challenge’ obstacle course race. In July ‘The Noccalula Experience’ will wrap up and the park will celebrate ‘National Park and Rec Month’ with various activities. ‘The World’s Longest Yard Sale’ will take place in August and the park hosts the start of the sale, as it continues north. In September the park will celebrate 50 years of the Noccalula Statue. The ‘G-Tractor Show’, ‘Halloween Super Bash’ and ‘The Turtle Island Powwow’ fill the October calendar. Season passes are $15 per adult or $10 per senior/military/child (age 4-12) regardless of where you live. Each individual will receive a personalized pass. One day passes for adults remain $6, child admission (age 4-12) will be $4, and 3 and younger remain free. We also offer a discount combo pass for park admission and mini golf, adults $8; seniors/military/children (age 4-12) $6. Contact the park office for group rates.
New this year is a park/Mini Golf combo season pass. $20 per senior/military/child and $25 for adults.

Summer:

Spring: Friday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Summer: Monday – Thursday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday - Sunday 11 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fall: Friday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
*Please note Mini Golf will be open during Etowah Co./Gadsden City Schools Spring Break, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
While visiting the park, you may notice some construction projects underway. The botanical gardens will be reinstalled. Several facilities and areas of fencing will be refurbished. Steps are being added behind the petting zoo to allow better access to the enclosures behind the petting zoo. The campground bathhouse is also currently being renovated.
