Fire up your taste buds! Downtown Gadsden’s 12^th Annual Chili Cook-Off will be held February 2^nd, 2019. Broad Street will be closed from 4^th to 6^th Streets for the event. Tasting will begin promptly at noon. Tasting tickets are $1 each, or you can get 6 tickets for $5. There will be prizes for a 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd place, and Crowd Favorite will be announced at 2pm. Please join us downtown for this spicy competition!

If you’d like to put your own chili recipe to the test, registration forms can be found on downtowngadsden.com or picked up from the DGI office at 635 Broad Street, Gadsden, Al 35901. The form contains the official rules and regulations. The last day to register as a contestant is January 18^th, 2019!!! Time is running out, get your forms in quick! Chili will be judged on the following criteria: Texture, Flavor, Consistency, Taste, and Aroma. Bring your A-game!
