Downtown Gadsden-October’s First Friday will kick off on October 5th from 6-9 pm. Everyone is invited to come downtown to enjoy family-friendly fun. Many downtown stores stay open after business hours to allow for convenient shopping. Food vendors will be lined up down Broad Street offering a variety of delicious snacks, and restaurants will be open as well.
Classic cars will cruise-in and be on display. The live music for the evening will be NXT LVL Performance Center at 2nd&Broad, Charla Murray at 3rd&Broad, Kings of Swing at 4th&Broad, and Damascus Road at 5th&Broad.
Start your day early at the Farmer’s Market at the 5th Street Market. Friday hours are 7:00 am- noon.
Broad Street will be closed from 1st Street to 7th Street starting at 4 pm and they will reopen after the First Friday event. As a friendly reminder, no pets are allowed.
