Gadsden, AL- Ready, Set, Hut! The Gadsden Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Youth Flag Football Clinic to kickoff the start of the new school year. The Youth Flag Football Combine will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Gadsden Softball Complex, located at 1420 West Meighan Boulevard. The clinic will be for youth athletes that are in the 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U age groups.
The cost per player is $50.00, and the fee provides all athletes a team jersey, and a mouth guard to wear during the games. The Parks and Recreation Department will provide flag belts, practice, and game balls. The football teams and game times will be announced after the combine on Saturday, August 18.
Registration for the event is open until Friday, August 17, and can be completed online at https://gadsden.recdesk.com or in person at the Jack Gaston Coliseum and at the Parks and Recreation Department.
