The Gadsden/Etowah County Emergency Management Agency will not be testing the outdoor warning sirens as scheduled. The sirens in Etowah County are scheduled for a monthly test on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m.
Due to the recent siren activation for the Tornadoes on 03/19/2018 in the Northern and Southern portions of our county, we will not do an audible outdoor warning siren test today. We will conduct a silent test of siren services throughout the county. We plan to return to the normal schedule in May if weather permits.
