“With the events occurring in our city over the last week, I feel compelled to speak out against the senseless violence.  The Gadsden Police Department has been working virtually around the clock to identify those responsible for committing these crimes.  I commend our officers for their quick response and outstanding work identifying and arresting the suspects in these cases. 

I feel confident that these are isolated incidents that do not represent who we are as a community.  We will do whatever is necessary to keep the citizens of Gadsden safe.”
