Gadsden, Alabama – The 5th Street Market will host a Farm to Table dinner, November 7th. The 5th Street Market is bringing together a variety of local products from area farmers and entrepreneurs to share a unique dining experience that will highlight the wide range of produce available in our area. The Farm to Table dinner at the 5th Street Market is building on the tremendous success of the new iteration of the farmers market in Downtown Gadsden and the rise in popularity of sustainably produced and locally sourced food.
The culinary team from Back Forty Beer Company has developed a four-course menu featuring lettuces from Gardens on Air, olive oils and vinegars from King’s Olive Oil, Back Forty’s Cart Barn brined brisket smoked with maple wood, ricotta gnocchi with locally harvested confit tomatoes and dessert from Velvet Kake.
Live music will be provided by Jeremy Jackson and Courtney Linam to accent this exceptional event at the 5th Street Market.
Tickets are on sale now at the Parks and Recreation office at the Downtown Civic Center and at King’s Olive Oil in Downtown Gadsden. Tickets are $45 and are very limited, so don’t miss out on this singular experience. Contact 5th Street Market Staff at 5thstreetmarket@cityofgadsden.com or 256-549-4680.
