After receiving information from Gadsden Etowah County-Emergency Management Agency, City Hall and all non-essential staff and departments will close at 2:30 p.m. today.
Additionally, the public will not be able to access CIty Hall services and should wait to conduct their business at City Hall.
Weather conditions are expected to deteriorate in the mid-afternoon and overnight. City Employees are being asked to take the early closure as an opportunity to get home or to another safe place.
