Together the City Council, Mayor and Engineering Departments prioritize the streets in need of resurfacing and align the priorities with the limited funding available.

The repaving projects are divided into the General Paving Plan and the CDBG plan. Community Development funding provided through the Federal Government’s Department of Housing and Urban Development is limited to certain areas of the City and necessitates the two separate projects. The CDGB Paving Project is approximately $895,000, while the General Paving Project is approximately $1.2 Million

The paving projects will be completed by paving contractors, supervised by the City’s Engineering Department and are set to be completed in 2018.
