Downtown Gadsden- Next Friday, July 7th, is First Friday in Downtown Gadsden! We invite you to come join us downtown from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m, stroll up and down the sidewalks and celebrate all that is great about Downtown Gadsden! July is Independent Retailer month, so make it a point to visit the independently owned businesses that will be open late just for you! You will be sure to find hidden treasures that you might have been missing.

Broad Street will be closed from 1st-7th Streets beginning around 4:30pm. Food vendors will line the 400 block of Broad Street and downtown restaurants will be open to serve you. Classic cars will cruise in and be on display up and down Broad Street. Make sure to explore our local art galleries, enjoy live entertainment and discover all that is great about Downtown Gadsden.

Entertainment for First Friday is pretty exciting! Damascus Road at 3rd and Broad, Jess Goggans at 4th and Broad, The Wheelers at 5th and Broad and SkyDogs in the 600 Block.

After all the First Friday activities, head over to the Mort Glosser Amphitheater for the Summer Concert Series. This month will feature Ultimate Aldean: A Jason Aldean Tribute. The free concert starts at 8:30pm. Bring your coolers and cushions and enjoy the show!

As a reminder to all, pets are not allowed at First Friday.

Don’t forget, the fireworks presented by the Gadsden Etowah Patriots Association will be Tuesday, July 4th at 9pm over the Coosa River.
