Gadsden, AL: Saturday, December 10th, from 10am-Noon, children will have a chance to visit with Santa and enjoy cookies and milk at the seventh annual Snacks with Santa at the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. This free event, sponsored by Downtown Gadsden, Inc. will be held in the center’s first-floor lobby. The Sugar Plum Fairies from the Downtown Gadsden Dance Conservatory will be there and parents are encouraged to bring your cameras to capture that moment of your little one with Santa and the Fairies.
While you’re there visiting Santa, make sure you check out the Let It Snow: The Exhibit at the children’s exhibit space in the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. An indoor winter wonderland complete with "snowball pit", a snow slide, sock-footed ice skating rink, a snow pit where kids can make snow angels and more. You can also take the time to see the Festival of Trees. This year’s theme is “The Big Screen” and each tree highlights a different favorite movie. The exhibit features more than thirty trees decorated by elementary school children and local non-profits. Regular admission of $8 will be charged for these exhibits.
