Gadsden, Alabama – In remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, the Gadsden Beautification Board and Downtown Gadsden Inc. invite the public to attend a ceremony honoring victims and their families at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 11th at Patriots Park on the corner of 4th and Broad Streets in downtown Gadsden.
4th Street will be closed from Broad to Locust for the event but there will be parking available in the public lots and on Broad Street. Some program highlights are the Gadsden State Community Choir’s patriotic medley, Gadsden City High School JROTC leading the Pledge of Allegiance, Taps will be played and a Bagpiper will close the ceremony.
