Join the City of Gadsden’s Parks and Recreation department as they celebrate Earth Day by hosting a community-wide cleanup at Noccalula Falls Park. The Parks and Recreation team is inviting community members to meet at the Noccalula Falls Park Wedding Chapel on Saturday morning April 23rd. From 8 a.m. until noon, groups will be assigned various tasks throughout the park like trash pick-up, graffiti removal, trail clearing and trail marking.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to spend some time in nature and help make Noccalula Falls Park a better, cleaner place. Tools and supplies will be provided for volunteers, but they are encouraged to bring their own work gloves. Community groups like the Gadsden Runners Club, Northeast Alabama Bicycling Association, and Coosa Riverkeeper are participating in this Earth Day celebration.
